Draft rules for joining and using Toravii.
Service and eligibility
Toravii is for adults aged 18 or older. Use an email address you control and provide accurate first and last names. Names are self-declared and are not identity-verified. Choose a unique username; your last name is hidden from other members unless you choose to show it. A waitlist application does not guarantee admission, an audition, representation, coaching or employment.
The current build supports applications, private recordings, saved space styling and invitations. Admitted members can publish picture/text posts, comment, share member-only links, report content and create sequential clue hunts. Academy lessons, paid upgrades and the discovery player remain previews. No payment is collected in this version.
Invitations
Admitted members may create 5 invitations per Berlin calendar day; admins may create 100. Creating a link uses a slot. Links are email-bound, single-use and expire in seven days. Do not spam, sell invitations or evade limits.
Invite people who expect to hear from you. Share the privacy-notice link with the invitation. Accepting makes the inviter and recipient mutual friends; either may remove that connection.
Your recordings and rights
You retain ownership of your work. Submit only material you have the rights and permissions to share, including rights concerning any other person recorded.
By choosing to upload, you ask Toravii to convert, store and make that file available for the private application feature. This draft grants no right to sell your work, publish it, train AI on it or use it in advertising. Any future public use needs a separate clear agreement.
Conduct and account restrictions
Do not impersonate others, upload unlawful material, harass members, exploit security weaknesses or submit unsolicited personal data. Keep invitation links and sign-in codes private.
The proposed moderation process is proportionate restriction with reasons and an opportunity to challenge a decision, subject to legal and urgent safety exceptions. Its contact route and operating procedure must be finalised before community launch.
Leaving and legal rights
You can remove your saved recording and friendships using the available controls. Account closure currently requires contacting the operator once its verified contact channel is published.
Mandatory consumer and data-protection rights remain unaffected. This draft does not impose an exclusive court, waive statutory remedies or exclude liability for deliberate conduct, gross negligence or injury.
These terms are a review draft. Final governing-law, consumer-information and acceptance arrangements depend on the operator’s establishment and the markets served.
